Chubby Cheeks Nursery is looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistants to support classroom teachers in nurturing and educating young learners. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are passionate about early childhood development and wish to begin or advance their career in education.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in planning and conducting classroom activities.

• Support students with individualized or group instruction to reinforce learning goals.

• Prepare teaching materials and classroom setups to enhance the learning environment.

• Monitor and manage student behavior and help maintain classroom discipline.

• Supervise children during playtime, mealtimes, and transitions.

• Assist with classroom organization, cleaning, and safety protocols.

• Help implement special educational plans or individualized programs (IEPs) when necessary.

• Maintain accurate records and provide feedback to the teaching team.

• Ensure open and professional communication with students, parents, and staff.

👤 Desired Candidate Profile:

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Arts or Education) is a plus.

• Prior experience working with children in a nursery, school, or daycare is advantageous.

• Passionate about working with young children.

• Patient, empathetic, and supportive in classroom settings.

• Excellent verbal communication and team collaboration skills.

• Basic knowledge of classroom technology and educational tools.
