Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD), a premier financial institution operating in the UAE for over 50 years, is hiring a Manager, Fraud Prevention (UAE National) to lead the development and execution of anti-fraud strategies. This on-site, full-time role based in Dubai requires a seasoned fraud risk professional with deep expertise in fraud detection systems, regulatory reporting, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a fraud prevention strategy in coordination with the Head of Fraud.

Design, test, and manage fraud detection rules and thresholds within monitoring systems.

Monitor emerging fraud trends and continuously improve fraud prevention frameworks.

Oversee fraud alerts, analyze suspicious activity, and manage incident response.
-
Maintain KPIs to assess effectiveness of anti-fraud initiatives.
-
Generate reports on fraud risks, losses, and system performance.

Collaborate with internal departments including IT, Compliance, Legal, and Operations.

Ensure regulatory reporting (e.g., SAR/STR) and card scheme requirements are met.

Provide fraud awareness training to relevant staff and stakeholders.

Evaluate and document policies, processes, and workflows for continued optimization.

Engage in strategic projects, including new product launches and operational changes.
Requirements:
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or IT.

Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential required.
Experience:
-
Minimum 10 years of experience in fraud risk management within the banking sector.

Proven record in designing and leading fraud prevention strategies.

Hands-on experience with systems such as Falcon, Fraud Navigator, ThreatMetrix, and Intuition.

Experience in data analysis tools like Excel and SQL is an advantage.
