The Woolwich Institute, Dubai is hiring a Full-Time Faculty Member to teach the BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) in Hospitality Management (Level 4 & 5). The ideal candidate will have academic experience in delivering vocational education and a strong background in the hospitality sector. This position includes teaching, academic support, assessment, and engaging with industry partners to enhance internship and placement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions aligned with the BTEC curriculum.

• Evaluate student assignments, projects, presentations, and examinations in line with Pearson standards.

• Provide academic mentoring and support to foster students’ development.

• Participate in internal quality assurance processes, including standardisation and verification.

• Build and maintain partnerships with the hospitality industry to support internships and placements.

• Collaborate with faculty and programme leaders to ensure academic excellence and continuous curriculum improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a closely related field.

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in academia or the hospitality industry.

• Familiarity with Pearson BTEC standards and previous teaching experience with the BTEC curriculum is preferred.

• Strong communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to connect students with industry opportunities and prepare them for professional success.
