The Associate role at TBI is a dynamic position that supports our growing project portfolio, business development, and expert offerings. As an Associate, you will be involved in supporting TBI’s work in strategic policy, project management, and innovative solutions across both in-country projects and regional client initiatives. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in policy, strategy, or delivery consulting and a passion for impactful change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the implementation of strategy, policy, and delivery for political leaders, using technology to drive success in these areas.

  • Conduct research, analysis, and produce high-quality deliverables, including insights and reports for clients and senior leadership.

  • Collaborate with client counterparts to understand their needs and participate in presenting solutions.

  • Innovate and develop tools to streamline project management, such as dashboards, frameworks, and trackers.

  • Support the delivery of high-impact projects, ensuring efficient tracking and coordination.

  • Contribute to new business opportunities and relationship building for TBI’s expansion into new geographies, including preparing presentations for potential country clients and senior officials.

  • Assist in the inception and implementation of new projects, as in-country teams are established.

  • Continuously apply innovative methods to support change and achieve impactful outcomes.

Person Specification:

  • 3-5 years of experience in political staffing, public service, consulting, economics, finance, or multilateral organizations.

  • Technology experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Experience in strategy or management consulting is advantageous.

  • Strong team-oriented work ethos and a genuine interest in supporting colleagues’ success.

  • Ability to conduct deep analysis, generate insights, and produce high-quality deliverables for senior government clients.

  • Proven experience in managing projects with a keen attention to detail and strong time management skills.

  • Entrepreneurial self-starter, comfortable navigating ambiguous environments.

  • Strong communication skills, able to engage with senior leadership and manage up.

  • Proactive, hands-on attitude with the ability to take ownership of workstreams.

  • Passion for technology and a curiosity to explore new software tools beyond traditional office suites.
