FedEx is seeking a Government Liaison Specialist-Senior to join their team in Dubai, UAE. This full-time role is open exclusively for UAE National candidates. The position involves managing government-related processes, including obtaining necessary approvals, permits, and security passes from local authorities such as SSD, Police, DA, DS, DWC, TRA, JAFZA, DAFZA, RAKEZ, and others. The specialist will provide full support to the legal and operations teams in ensuring compliance with local regulations, coordinating with government bodies, and assisting in business licensing and permits. This role demands a high level of expertise in UAE administrative procedures, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills in both Arabic and English.
Key Responsibilities:

Obtain and maintain necessary approvals from various local authorities for documents such as TL, permits, and airport security passes.

Coordinate with government agencies such as SSD, Police, DA, DS, DWC, TRA, JAFZA, DAFZA, RAKEZ, etc., to ensure smooth operations.

Provide legal and operational support regarding airport security and other regulatory requirements.

Review and ensure compliance with licensing and business permit procedures in line with UAE regulations.

Work closely with internal teams to streamline processes and ensure timely and accurate documentation.

Apply specialist knowledge to design and implement processes that support the division and corporate goals.

Ensure accurate record-keeping and attention to detail in all documentation.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
