About the Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be the technical expert supporting installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Daktronics products. You’ll provide both remote and on-site support to clients, contributing directly to the success of events and system reliability across various regions.

Key Responsibilities

On-Site Work:

• Support LED/video displays and control systems during events or maintenance.

• Perform system-level troubleshooting, fiber terminations, and field repairs.

• Train service partners and clients.

• Travel primarily throughout the Middle East, West/Central Asia, and Africa.

Remote Support:

• Provide phone-based technical assistance for hardware/software issues.

• Support clients with system configurations and usage.

• Log and document all support activities accurately.

General:

• Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Project Managers, Service).

• Provide post-service feedback and detailed site reports.

• Maintain customer relationships and deliver top-tier service.

What You’ll Need

• Minimum: Associate degree + relevant experience

• Preferred: Bachelor’s in Electronics/Computer Engineering Technology or related

• Experience: 2+ years in field service or a technical support role preferred

• Strong computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Office, basic networking)

• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus

• Able to work at heights and carry equipment

• Flexible with travel and scheduling (evenings/weekends)

• Valid UAE driver’s license
