Archcorp Architectural Engineering is hiring an experienced Authority Architect / Project Coordinator to lead and manage authority approvals and regulatory submissions across UAE jurisdictions including Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi. This is a vital client-facing and technical role that bridges regulatory compliance with architectural design strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute submission strategies for obtaining timely authority approvals, including exceptional cases

• Liaise with Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi authorities to manage project approvals from concept to BCC

• Review client requirements and ensure architectural compliance with local codes and authority standards

• Lead the preparation, submission, and follow-up of documents for NOCs and regulatory approvals

• Conduct design reviews for code compliance and provide solutions for regulatory constraints

• Maintain a checklist and schedule for each project’s authority approvals and related documentation

• Stay updated on evolving regulations and educate team members on new authority guidelines

• Attend municipality meetings and technical discussions as project representative

• Assist with design stages including concept, schematic, detailed, and construction documentation

• Mentor team members and support HR in technical interviews for architectural roles

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch)

• 5+ years of experience handling authority submissions and coordination within the UAE

• Knowledge of Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi authority regulations and portals

• Native Arabic speaker preferred, with strong English communication skills

• Proficiency in Revit, BIM, Adobe Suite, MS Office, InDesign, Illustrator

• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory
