About the Company:
Charterhouse is partnering with a boutique investment client to recruit a highly motivated Finance & Operations Analyst. This role is critical to supporting front-office activities, managing trade settlements, cash positions, and financial operations across diverse investment portfolios.

Role Overview:
As a Finance & Operations Analyst, you will manage trade processing, settlements, cash monitoring, reconciliations, and documentation. You will also support finance activities, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and financial reporting. Additionally, you will assist in audit preparation, management reporting, and ad-hoc projects supporting investment operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and settle trades across derivatives, equities, and swap instruments.

• Monitor cash positions and perform daily bank reconciliations.

• Manage data integrity, trade documentation, and operational records.

• Post accurate journal entries and maintain general ledgers across multiple investment portfolios.

• Support internal and external audit processes by maintaining thorough audit trails.

• Prepare timely and precise management reports and financial statements.

• Collaborate with the front office on operational and trade support activities.

• Participate in special projects and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Candidate Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience in middle office, trade support, or operations roles within banking or financial services institutions.

• Strong product knowledge of derivatives, equities, and swaps.

• High attention to detail with excellent accuracy in financial reporting and documentation.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
