We are looking for a Life Underwriter to join our team, ensuring the efficient delivery of underwriting and risk management services to our clients.

Your Role:

• Underwriting Responsibilities: Evaluate high-value and complex life and living benefits risks for both individual and group businesses.

• Technical Guidance: Provide expert underwriting advice and communicate underwriting decisions clearly.

• Client Audits: Participate in technical underwriting audits for clients, offering risk mitigation analysis and practical business improvement solutions.

• Business Development: Assist with business acquisition and retention through underwriting consulting services.

• Client Engagement: Conduct training and seminars for clients to enhance understanding and compliance.

• Collaboration and Improvement: Work with teams across the company to improve underwriting processes and techniques.

• Risk Management and Innovation: Contribute to projects that develop and implement robust risk management processes, promoting international best practices.

Your Profile:

• Experience: A minimum of 8 years’ experience, with at least 3 years in progressively senior roles within life insurance and/or reinsurance.

• Expertise: Experience underwriting medically substandard, as well as financially complex life, disability, and critical illness risks.

• Market Knowledge: Understanding of the life insurance market in the MENA region, including regulatory environments and market practices (desirable).
