TAQA Group, a global leader in sustainable power and water generation, is seeking a Decision Support Lead to provide critical support to the CEO in strategy, business intelligence, and preparing materials for high-level meetings and events. This on-site, full-time position offers a dynamic environment where you’ll collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive decision-making and ensure effective executive positioning.
About the Company:
TAQA’s Generation business operates power generation assets in seven countries and, in combination with its stake in Masdar, spans over 25 countries. As the largest producer of desalinated water in the UAE, TAQA plays a pivotal role in delivering secure and reliable power to communities while championing sustainability.
Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Research and Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive research to gather insights, supporting the CEO’s decision-making process. Assist with special projects and initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines. -
Decision Support:
Prepare briefing notes and materials for external meetings, ensuring they are concise, relevant, and tailored for each engagement. Assist the CEO in chairing internal committee meetings, providing informative memos to guide decision-making. -
Reporting and Team Engagement:
Provide weekly updates to the CEO on key upcoming meetings, including necessary preparation details. Collaborate with the communications team to ensure the CEO’s executive positioning is consistent and impactful. -
Executive Support:
Coordinate internal business meetings, including agenda preparation, meeting minutes, and document distribution. Assist in creating presentations, reports, and ensuring timely closure of open action items. -
General Responsibilities:
Oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and systems in line with group standards. Ensure all reports meet business policies and contribute to senior management’s decision-making processes.
Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field

7+ years of experience in strategic consulting or similar roles in the energy or utilities sector

Strong strategic thinking, research, and analytical skills

Proven ability to prepare high-level briefing materials and communicate effectively with senior leadership

Experience in managing executive-level meetings and supporting rapid decision-making

Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
