Job Title: Senior Storekeeper

About the Role:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Storekeeper to manage onsite inventory and material control for a construction project. This role is vital in ensuring smooth material handling operations, accurate stock records, and compliance with procurement and project protocols.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily activities related to receiving, issuing, and storing construction materials, tools, and consumables.

Maintain precise inventory records, including logging received items and tracking materials issued to site teams.

Prepare and submit Cumulative Monthly Stock Balance Reports, detailing supplied vs. remaining quantities by Company Accounts Codes and Work Items.

Ensure delivery notes, invoices, material request and return slips (SRTs, MRRS), and other procurement documents are well-organized and accessible throughout the project lifecycle.

Update and manage Material Stock Cards in accordance with company coding standards.

Verify that all materials are properly labeled, with production/expiry dates and shelf life visibly noted.

Monitor and control excess, unused, or damaged materials; store appropriately for inspection and regular stock audits.

Sign off on daily material issue registers and assist with regular inventory reconciliations.
Requirements:

Minimum 8 years of experience in storekeeping for construction projects, preferably in building or villa developments.

Strong familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred.

Proven ability to manage high-volume material flows and support construction team needs.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
