AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Facade Coordinator in Abu Dhabi to oversee the site supervision activities related to façade works. This role involves ensuring quality installations, reviewing submittals, coordinating mock-ups, and overseeing façade construction activities, including testing and progress monitoring. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in the façade industry, with a proven track record in overseeing the complete façade construction sequence.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate building construction with consultants, subcontractors, and the site team.

Support the selection and pre-qualification of façade subcontractors and suppliers.

Review and coordinate façade-related construction activities, ensuring compliance with contracts, codes, and standards.
-
Oversee façade mock-ups and performance testing, ensuring timely completion.
-
Monitor the façade construction progress, coordinating factory visits as needed.
-
Coordinate the façade team for regular technical meetings with suppliers, subcontractors, and PMC teams.

Ensure the progress of design, material, and shop drawings is in line with the project schedule.

Develop and manage façade productivity and inspection processes.
-
Ensure non-conforming work is tracked and corrected before subsequent activities are performed.

Assist with scope development, variation orders, and façade-related closeout documentation.
Job Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (B.Eng/B.Tech).

10-15 years of experience in a similar role within the façade industry, preferably in the Middle East.

Proven experience in overseeing façade construction sequences, from design to handover.

Familiarity with relevant international codes, UAE authorities’ requirements, and sustainability certifications.

Knowledge of the UAE fire code and international standards for façade performance.

Strong communication skills, with experience in contractual letter writing.

Ability to solve challenges effectively and on time.
