Retail Operations Associate / Manager

Bvlgari is looking for a Retail Operations Associate/Manager for the Middle East and India. This role will focus on driving operational excellence and digital transformation in-store, ensuring seamless adoption of new technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail operations, project management, and digital innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Digital & Innovation Leadership:

    • Drive the regional rollout and adoption of digital retail tools, aligning with global retail and IT strategies.

    • Lead digital transformation projects, gathering feedback from store teams and enhancing user engagement.

    • Collaborate with IT teams to evolve in-store digital ecosystems (e.g., CRM tools, appointment management, mobile POS).

    • Identify digital gaps and propose tech-enabled solutions to improve operations and customer experience.

    • Analyze performance data of digital tools to optimize usage and inform future initiatives.

  • Operational Excellence & Strategy:

    • Lead operational excellence initiatives and standardization of processes across the region.

    • Evaluate and implement process improvements to eliminate inefficiencies and introduce scalable practices.

    • Collaborate with Inventory Control, Internal Audit, Store Planning, HR, and Training to ensure operational cohesion.

    • Oversee store openings and renovations in collaboration with HQ and local departments.

    • Maintain the Retail Excellence Digital Hub, ensuring content is current and actionable.

  • Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership:

    • Manage and mentor Retail Operations Specialists, supporting their growth.

    • Foster a collaborative culture, sharing best practices and enhancing communication across stores and corporate teams.

    • Serve as a key point of contact for back-office teams, solving escalated challenges hands-on.

Skills Required:

  • 6–8+ years of experience in retail operations, with project or team management; luxury or premium retail experience preferred.

  • Proven leadership in implementing and managing digital tools in retail networks.

  • Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and understanding of omnichannel retail.

  • High digital fluency with experience in retail platforms, analytics, and collaborative tech.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset.

  • Comfortable working in dynamic, multi-market environments with evolving expectations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to or knowledge of the Middle East and/or Indian retail markets.

  • Experience with financial oversight, including operational budgeting and procurement efficiency.
