Job Title: Senior Planning Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer to oversee and coordinate all planning activities for our high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring project timelines and costs are well-managed, while maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders involved.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate all planning functions, ensuring alignment with the Project Construction Programme.

Follow up with subcontractors’ schedules and coordinate with the overall project timeline.

Initiate and respond to all planning and time-related correspondence with Consultants and subcontractors.

Attend site coordination meetings with Consultants and subcontractors, ensuring smooth communication and progress.

Coordinate or supervise the preparation of cost and time impact studies for project variations, collaborating with the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor to assess the validity of claims.

Maintain production rates for equipment and labor across all trades, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Liaise with relevant teams to prepare and issue time impact programmes to support or substantiate claims, if applicable, at the post-construction stage.

Provide feedback on production rates for all tasks post-construction to refine future planning.

Prepare and maintain the project’s As-Built programme and closeout schedule.
Skills & Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architecture Engineering.

Minimum of 10 years’ experience with leading building contracting companies, preferably on high-rise projects.

Proficiency in Primavera (latest version) and Excel spreadsheet software, with the ability to independently set up project plans exceeding 5000 activities, including resource loading, updates, and reporting.

Strong knowledge of cost control (advantageous).

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
