As the Head of the Mathematics Faculty, you will lead the development and delivery of the mathematics curriculum across all key stages (FS to Y13). Your role will also include driving curriculum innovation, supporting professional development, and contributing to secondary school planning to align with the school’s ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of the mathematics curriculum across all stages, ensuring a consistent and high standard of teaching.

• Provide strong leadership in through-school (EYFS to post-16) curriculum development.

• Implement digital solutions in teaching and learning to enhance the curriculum.

• Foster a solutions-focused, innovative mindset and adapt to the school’s fast-growing environment.

• Champion student progress and wellbeing, building positive relationships with students and staff.

• Lead professional development initiatives, mentoring staff, and promoting best practices in teaching.

Requirements:

• A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd, or equivalent).

• Minimum of 10 years of teaching experience, with proven leadership experience in mathematics education.

• Strong knowledge of the British curriculum from FS to Year 13.

• Expertise in curriculum design, particularly in secondary mathematics.

• A tech-savvy approach to education, with the ability to implement digital teaching tools.

• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a passion for student wellbeing and progress.
