Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize industry-standard software and tools to develop comprehensive cost estimates and proposals.

  • Present cost findings to stakeholders in a clear, actionable format, highlighting potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering alternatives.

  • Monitor and maintain cost databases to reflect current market trends, price changes, and regulatory updates, ensuring consistent accuracy.

  • Conduct detailed reviews of project specifications and architectural designs to create precise cost projections aligned with financial goals.

  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and procurement professionals to gather all necessary data related to materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.

  • Perform in-depth cost risk assessments to identify potential financial variances and create contingency plans to mitigate risks.

  • Ensure all cost estimates and risk strategies comply with quality standards and project timelines.

  • Maintain open and effective communication with all project stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment from project inception through completion.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Proven experience in cost estimation within the engineering or construction industries.

  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex blueprints, technical requirements, and project scopes.

  • Proficiency with industry-standard cost estimation tools and software.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying cost variances and risk mitigation strategies.
