The Culinary Intern role at Shangri-La Hotel offers a great opportunity for individuals to gain experience in the Hot Kitchen and Cold Section. Interns will be immersed in culinary operations, learning at various responsibility levels and working closely with a professional team. A passion for hospitality and teamwork is key.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare ingredients according to recipes/menu.

Cook and prepare high-quality menu items efficiently and on time.

Test food for correct preparation and temperature.

Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and storage areas.

Assist hotel colleagues in maintaining service standards.

Support other departments when needed and be an ambassador for the brand.

Handle client queries/complaints with empathy and find solutions collaboratively.
Job Requirements:

Great teamwork skills and attention to detail.

Previous culinary experience in luxury hospitality is a plus.
