Project Manager

Alpaca, a global brokerage infrastructure company headquartered in California, is hiring a Remote Project Manager to oversee end-to-end project delivery for enterprise clients integrating with its cutting-edge brokerage APIs (equities, crypto, options, etc.). The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage timelines, ensure compliance, align resources, and deliver seamless customer onboarding experiences. This full-time remote role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse, globally distributed team and support Alpaca’s mission of opening financial services to everyone on the planet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project delivery for enterprise integrations across multiple financial products.

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams (engineering, compliance, legal, customer success) to align project scope and timelines.

  • Facilitate partner meetings, resolve roadblocks, and maintain alignment on deliverables.

  • Track and report project risks, dependencies, and progress to leadership.

  • Guide clients through onboarding processes including KYC, AML, and regulatory protocols.

  • Document workflows and enhance onboarding frameworks for scalability.

  • Serve as the primary voice of the customer internally at Alpaca.

  • Stay up-to-date with internal product developments and communicate changes to partners.

  • Represent Alpaca with key enterprise clients, offering solutions and support.

  • Create internal and external resources for use by both partners and internal teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of enterprise-level project management experience.

  • Strong process documentation, analysis, and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and attention to detail.

  • Flexibility to work with clients across various time zones.

  • Prior experience in fintech, financial markets, or brokerage is preferred.

  • Familiarity with modern APIs (REST, Websockets, SSE) and tools such as Slack, JIRA, Confluence, Basecamp, and Google Workspace.

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in sales, customer success, or technical enablement.

  • Experience with crypto, brokerage platforms, or investing applications.

  • Technical troubleshooting capabilities and familiarity with tools like Postman, curl, and API logging platforms.
