Business Development Manager for Services, Africa & Middle-East

Airbus is seeking a Business Development Manager for Services in the Africa & Middle-East region. The role involves managing strategic business development projects, identifying business opportunities, and building partnerships within the aviation services sector. The jobholder will work closely with various stakeholders to support Airbus’s customer services strategies, ensuring alignment with regional market needs and driving growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage strategic business development projects in the Africa & Middle-East region.

  • Collect, analyze, and share market trends and competitive landscape.

  • Develop tactical plans aligning with local priorities and Airbus’s business lines.

  • Identify new business opportunities and partners adapted to the region.

  • Represent the Business Development & Strategy function in Multi-Functional Teams.

  • Propose service offers that align with local market expectations and maximize profitability.

  • Manage partnership projects, ensuring the correct project structure, resources, and objectives.

  • Support business development initiatives and provide local insights to the central team.

  • Ensure proper communication between central teams and Airbus colleagues in the region.

  • Report on project progress and deliverables to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in project management (LBIP) and engineering degree in aeronautics (MBA is a plus).

  • Experience in MRO and OEM aftermarket activities.

  • Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment with multiple stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of Airbus Customer Services portfolio and financial drivers.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle compliance risks.

  • Fluent in business development techniques and market trend analysis.
