The Assistant Director of Business Development – MICE & Corporate at Shangri-La Dubai will drive business growth by targeting corporate clients, securing new business opportunities, and managing a portfolio of existing corporate accounts. The role involves developing strategic sales plans, conducting client visits, delivering proposals, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. This position works closely with various teams to achieve sales targets and promote the hotel’s offerings to the corporate segment.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to target key corporate accounts and generate new business.

Identify, qualify, and secure corporate clients through direct sales, telemarketing, and networking events.

Manage a portfolio of existing corporate clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and site inspections to showcase hotel offerings.

Prepare proposals and contracts aligned with the hotel’s pricing strategy and revenue goals.

Collaborate with Revenue Management and Marketing teams to create promotions and packages for the corporate segment.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities in the CRM system.
-
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
-
Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to enhance visibility and develop relationships.

Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services to corporate clients.

Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications & Experience:

Experience in Business Development / Sales & Marketing in an international 5* luxury property.

Self-driven, goal-oriented, and willing to challenge the status quo.

Strong professional values, ethics, and integrity.

Proven ability to network and build strong business relationships.

Experience in the UAE and GCC markets.

Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication.

Strong selling, interpersonal, and communication skills.
