Job Title: Production & New Product Development
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Production & NPD Coordinator to join our fast-paced food manufacturing team. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong cross-functional communication skills, a solid understanding of food production processes, and a passion for supporting new product development from concept to launch.
You will play a key role in coordinating daily production activities, supporting the NPD team, and ensuring all food safety, quality, and operational standards are upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Coordination:

Collaborate with internal departments to align production schedules, meet targets, and achieve KPIs.

Act as a liaison between production and departments including Food Safety, Quality Assurance, Hygiene, ERP, Engineering, Sourcing, and Operations.

Ensure effective communication of safety protocols and process updates across teams.

Maintain accurate HACCP documentation, monitor label verification, and analyze wastage reports to recommend efficiency improvements.

Support compliance with QHSE standards and enforce SOPs, FIFO practices, and the use of PPE to promote workplace safety and hygiene.
New Product Development (NPD) Support:

Assist in preparing Ready-to-Heat and meal products for sensory evaluation, including defrosting, reheating, documenting, and photographing each product to ensure traceability and quality control.

Maintain gold-standard product samples for benchmark comparison during sensory panels.

Update and manage meal specifications for new product evaluations and coordinate specification changes with the relevant teams.

Organize and archive all sensory testing data for ongoing product development and internal reviews.

Provide logistical and administrative support to the NPD team during menu planning and product launch phases.
Qualifications:

Experience in a food production or NPD support role preferred.

Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.

Familiarity with HACCP, food safety, and QHSE protocols.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.

Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
