About the Role:
Our Tier 1 Interiors Main Contracting client is seeking a highly experienced Planning Manager to join their team in Dubai. The role focuses on high-end Interior Fit-Out, Joinery, and Refurbishment projects across the Emirates. Ideal candidates will have significant planning management experience within leading Interior Fit-Out/Main Contracting companies in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules covering task sequencing, duration estimation, and resource planning.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align planning efforts with project goals.

Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule, proactively identifying delays or risks.

Conduct delay analyses and communicate findings to project stakeholders.

Facilitate regular project meetings to review schedule updates, resource management, and risk mitigation.

Work closely with cost control teams to maintain budgets and cost forecasts.

Optimize resource utilization by assessing project manpower and equipment requirements.

Produce detailed weekly and monthly project progress reports for management and stakeholders.

Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and critical equipment.

Contribute to risk assessment and the development of contingency planning strategies.

Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging project planning technologies.
Candidate Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage.

Experience:
-
Minimum 8 years of proven experience in project planning, specifically within interior fit-out, joinery, and refurbishment sectors.

Experience with high-profile projects within Tier 1 Interior Fit-Out or Main Contracting companies in the UAE is essential.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
