Hermès is hiring a Cashier for their Dubai Mall store. The role involves customer service, cash handling, transaction processing, and maintaining store paperwork and records. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a fast-paced retail environment, particularly in luxury retail.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers, answer phones, and direct inquiries to the appropriate party.

Handle routine billing questions and issues from customers.

Assist in store opening and closing, including cash handling and deposits.

Complete and maintain paperwork and records.
-
Identify prices of goods using memory or scanner.
-
Enter transactions in the cash register and provide customers with the total bill.

Sort and count currency and coins, issue receipts and change.
-
Count money at the start and end of each shift.
-
Process credit card and check payments.

Perform customer service representative duties when required.

Assist in stocking shelves, rotating merchandise, and marking prices.

Open and close tills.
Candidate Requirements:
-
Minimum of 3 years of experience in cashiering.
-
Experience in a fast-paced environment with high transaction volumes, preferably in luxury retail.

Ability to work collaboratively with at least 10 staff members.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
-
Detail-oriented and highly observant.

Ability to multitask efficiently.

Proven background in providing good customer experience.
