CME – Business Development Manager (Professional Print)
Canon EMEA Dubai , UAE

Canon EMEA is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead its High-End Professional Print Sales Sector. The role requires a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the Professional Print Industry with a proven track record in business development, sales, and strategic planning. The candidate will be responsible for driving Canon’s growth objectives in the Middle East and will work closely with partners and clients to enhance Canon’s market share.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the sales sector and ensure objectives related to units, revenue, profit, and market share are achieved.

  • Develop sales and technical knowledge within the Middle East Canon Partners through training, coaching, and market visits.

  • Utilize Canon’s regional showroom for product demonstrations and customer Proof of Concept (PoC).

  • Identify and nurture key business relationships with End-Users, Graphic Arts companies, and Government Organizations.

  • Establish and maintain marketing activity budgets for each account, ensuring alignment with Canon’s objectives.

  • Work with country and area managers to integrate customer projects and ensure smooth product launches.

  • Conduct market assessments and regularly track competitor activities.

  • Organize trainings and professional demos for customers and partners.

  • Develop new business application ideas using Professional Print techniques and improve workflow.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Relevant formal qualifications (University-level degree).

  • Experience: 8-10 years in a similar business development or sales role in the professional print industry.

  • Skills: Strong communication skills in English and Arabic, selling skills, planning, and prioritizing.

  • Attributes: Strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and customer focus.

Additional Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Graphic Arts concept, workflow, and application testing.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with business partners and end-users to drive sales.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and diplomatically with various stakeholders.
