As the Assistant Manager – Banquets at Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel, you will ensure seamless banquet service operations, working with a team to meet guest needs. This role involves managing staff, overseeing banquet preparations, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and ensuring a safe, efficient environment for guests and staff. You will also assist in hiring, training, and motivating employees to uphold service standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and guide banquet staff to deliver exceptional service.

Manage setup and breakdown of banquet areas, ensuring proper supply levels and cleanliness.

Monitor guest safety, seating availability, and service quality.

Assist in staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.

Ensure adherence to safety policies and address any workplace hazards or incidents.

Maintain staff uniforms and ensure professionalism at all times.

Promote quality standards, suggest improvements, and optimize organizational efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
