• Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a part-time intern to support their SOS Services initiatives. The role involves hands-on experience in analytical sample processing and data review for oil, fuel, and coolant samples submitted by customers. The intern will work with engineers to manage equipment maintenance schedules and will perform various in-service fluid analytical tests. Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to quality and safety compliance standards (ISO 9001, Chemical Hygiene Plan).

• Handle sample registration, preparation, disposal, and material inspection.

• Communicate with customers via phone or email.

• Collect, evaluate, and transfer data to LIMS; log non-conforming samples.

• Manage waste disposal and ensure EHS compliance.

• Conduct various tests on oil, fuel, and coolant samples.

• Monitor and archive instrument data.

• Take ownership of designated processes and troubleshoot instruments.

• Complete administrative tasks such as billing forms and logging dates.

Key Requirements:

• Must be a current resident of the UAE with valid visa/sponsorship.

• Full-time enrollment in a university/college in the UAE, pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

• Expected graduation date of May 2025 or beyond.

• Previous lab experience is a plus.

• Willingness to work in a team environment.
