Job Title: General Ledger (GL) Accountant 

Job Description:

We are hiring a detail-oriented and experienced General Ledger (GL) Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll reconciliation, processing financial entries, handling utility payments, and supporting ERP finance modules. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in FMCG finance operations and excellent ERP system knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile monthly staff records between system data and official documentation.

• Prepare and post payroll entries accurately, categorized by division, department, and employee codes.

• Generate and present monthly payroll summaries and GL reconciliations for approval by FM, GL Supervisor, and CFO.

• Ensure timely payment of utility expenses including electricity, water, telecom, and Salik.

• Conduct monthly analysis of utility consumption, highlighting anomalies or overcharges.

• Enhance ERP utilization by becoming a super user of all Finance Modules and minimizing manual processes.

Qualifications:

• Male candidates preferred; aged 40 and below.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required.

• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in the FMCG industry as a GL Accountant.

• Proficient in Excel, SAP, Oracle, and IFRS standards.

• Strong skills in reconciliation and period-end closing processes.

• Attention to detail, organizational efficiency, and analytical mindset are essential.
