• GE Vernova is hiring a Project Engineer to lead, manage, and execute turnkey projects in the UAE, Gulf, and Iraq. The role involves handling project management from contract award to final acceptance, ensuring timely execution, cost management, risk assessments, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop project schedules and procurement plans for efficient project execution.

• Ensure cost-effective execution of project milestones while maintaining quality standards.

• Manage claims and variation orders with customers and subcontractors.

• Create work plans, budgets, and conduct risk assessments.

• Present Project Management Reviews (PMR) to management.

• Coordinate with customers/contractors to align with GE project management processes.

• Drive financial results, including sales, margin, billing, and cash collection.

• Build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.

• Address customer quality complaints and product non-conformities, ensuring root cause analysis and resolution.

• Ensure compliance with EHS standards, aiming for zero deviation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.

• Proficiency in English and Arabic is essential.

• 4-5 years of experience in Project Management and contract management.

• Knowledge of cross-cultural working environments and utilities in the region.

• Proactive, creative, and energetic work style.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with MS Office, SAP, and Primavera.

• Knowledge of Grid Products like GIS, AIS, power transformers, and protection relays is a plus.

• Willingness to travel overseas for short business trips.
