Job Description:
We are seeking an E-commerce Expansion Manager to drive the growth and expansion of our online business into new markets, regions, and channels. Based in Dubai, UAE, this role will be responsible for identifying and executing expansion opportunities, increasing sales, and enhancing the e-commerce customer experience. The ideal candidate will collaborate with marketing, logistics, customer service, and product teams to develop and execute a strategic expansion plan that ensures seamless market entry and sustained growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Expansion Strategy:
- Develop and implement e-commerce expansion plans for domestic and international markets.
- Conduct market research to identify high-potential regions, customer segments, and growth opportunities.
- Analyze competitor landscapes, local market trends, and consumer behavior to create effective market entry strategies.
- Coordinate with leadership to prioritize new market launches and product offerings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with the marketing team to develop localized campaigns and promotions for market expansion.
- Partner with supply chain and fulfillment teams to ensure smooth logistics, inventory management, and timely deliveries.
- Collaborate with IT and product teams to integrate new marketplaces and optimize e-commerce functionality.
Revenue Growth & Performance Optimization:
- Optimize product listings, pricing strategies, and promotional activities tailored to regional preferences.
- Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to track the success of expansion efforts and adjust strategies as needed.
- Identify areas for conversion rate optimization to improve the customer shopping experience and drive higher sales.
Requirements:
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management, business development, or market expansion, with a focus on digital growth.
- Proven success in managing e-commerce expansion projects and executing market entry strategies.
- Strong knowledge of global e-commerce trends, customer behavior, and regional business practices.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and marketplace integrations (e.g., Amazon, eBay).
- Knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and cross-border e-commerce operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing global or regional e-commerce operations.
- Familiarity with digital marketing channels (SEM, social media, email marketing) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau).
- Experience with localization strategies, such as translating content and adapting marketing efforts to cultural differences.
