Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled HV Electrical Design Engineer to join our team and work on Mega and Giga-scale renewable energy projects ranging from 30MW to 2000MW. The ideal candidate will handle MV, HV, and EHV scope design, substation (SS) design, underground cables, and overhead lines (OHL) for solar, wind, and water projects across various countries, ensuring compliance with IEC standards and country-specific regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design MV, HV, and EHV systems for renewable energy projects, including step-up substations at various voltage levels (11KV–400KV).

• Handle substation design (AIS, GIS, hybrid) and transformer sizing.

• Develop technical submittals, including layouts, BOQs, and conceptual reports.

• Execute detailed engineering for ongoing projects and provide technical support during the bidding phase.

• Design and oversee underground cable and OHL installations.

• Collaborate with solar, civil, and drafting teams to ensure seamless project execution.

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in HV electrical technologies and renewable energy solutions.

• Work independently and lead a team of engineers for efficient project completion.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience in HV electrical design within the renewable energy sector.

• Strong understanding of substation design, underground cables, and overhead lines.

• Familiarity with IEC standards and country-specific grid regulations.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
