Job Title: Resort General Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Resort General Manager to lead the daily operations of a prestigious luxury resort in Al Ain. The ideal candidate will oversee all departments, ensuring seamless operations, exceptional guest experiences, financial growth, and operational excellence. This leadership role requires a strong background in hospitality management, strategic planning, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

🏨 Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day resort operations, ensuring high-quality service across all departments (front office, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, etc.).

  • Implement policies and procedures to maintain brand standards and maximize guest satisfaction.

  • Monitor guest feedback, service quality, and efficiency to drive continuous improvement.

👨‍💼 Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and manage department heads and staff to foster a strong service-oriented culture.

  • Conduct performance evaluations, training programs, and team development initiatives.

  • Ensure optimal staffing levels and manage recruitment for key positions.

💰 Financial & Revenue Management

  • Develop and manage operational budgets, revenue forecasts, and cost-control strategies.

  • Oversee pricing, booking systems, and promotional strategies to drive revenue and maximize occupancy.

  • Monitor profitability, financial reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

🌟 Guest Experience & Satisfaction

  • Ensure exceptional customer service, addressing guest concerns and enhancing overall experience.

  • Monitor online reputation and guest feedback to continuously improve service.

  • Implement guest satisfaction surveys and use data-driven insights to refine operations.

📢 Sales & Marketing Strategy

  • Work with the marketing team to drive brand awareness and sales through digital marketing, partnerships, and promotions.

  • Develop strategic relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and event planners.

  • Oversee reputation management on TripAdvisor, Booking.com, and social media.

🔧 Property Maintenance & Safety

  • Ensure all facilities are well-maintained, clean, and comply with safety and regulatory standards.

  • Implement risk management strategies and oversee insurance, security, and emergency response procedures.

📊 Strategic Planning & Growth

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to set long-term business goals and expansion strategies.

  • Analyze market trends, competitor insights, and industry advancements to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Present performance reports and strategic recommendations to ownership and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Experience:

  • 3-5+ years of hotel/resort management experience, with at least 2-3 years in a senior leadership role.

  • Strong background in managing multi-department operations, including front office, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance.

  • Proven success in driving revenue growth, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in budgeting, financial planning, and revenue management.

  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, best practices, and UAE regulations.
