Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Urban Planner & Strategist with a deep understanding of urban systems, governance, and implementation strategies. This role will contribute to developing transformative masterplans, policies, and urban guidelines that shape the future of cities. The ideal candidate is a visionary problem solver who excels in strategizing city growth, driving policy change, and leading innovative urban development projects.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Urban Planning & Strategy Development

• Develop comprehensive masterplans, urban strategies, and policies to drive sustainable city growth.

• Conduct research and analysis on urban systems, governance frameworks, and economic policies.

• Prepare guidelines and reports that influence city planning and policy-making.

🔹 Project Leadership & Client Engagement

• Lead key projects and manage small teams to deliver high-quality urban solutions.

• Engage with public and private sector clients to align project objectives with strategic urban goals.

• Present compelling data-driven insights and recommendations.

🔹 Technical Expertise & Digital Tools

• Utilize geospatial tools (GIS) and InDesign to create impactful urban planning visuals.

• Interpret complex urban data to develop scalable and actionable solutions.

• Stay updated on global best practices and industry trends.

Qualifications & Skills

✅ Education & Experience:

• Postgraduate Degree in Spatial, Economic, or Policy Planning.

• 6+ years of post-graduate experience in urban planning and strategy.

• Prior work experience outside the Middle East is highly valued.

✅ Core Competencies:

• Strong understanding of urban governance, implementation strategies, and economic frameworks.

• Proven ability to write compelling reports, policies, and strategic guidelines.

• Experience in leading teams and managing high-impact projects.

• Proficiency in InDesign and GIS-based tools.
