Exciting Opportunity for a Construction Logistics Coordinator in Dubai!

Our Tier 1 Civil Contracting Client is seeking an experienced Construction Logistics Coordinator to oversee logistics operations for a large-scale new build project in Dubai. This role is ideal for candidates with strong expertise in construction logistics, labor movement, and material coordination. Candidates with prior experience in main contracting companies in the UAE will be given preference.

This is an initial 3-6 month contract role, with the potential to transition into a permanent position after 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the movement of labor, materials, and equipment to and from project sites.

• Assist in developing and implementing the Logistics Strategic Plan for the project.

• Coordinate all logistical aspects, ensuring smooth and timely deliveries and operations.

• Assist in preparing and executing logistics plans for efficient site operations.

• Plan and manage site set-up, ensuring efficient movement of labor, materials, and machinery.

• Oversee traffic management, access control, and workforce movement.

• Plan and optimize internal and external logistics routes for different project phases.

• Coordinate with project teams for crane locations, pick points, hoists, and site welfare facilities.

• Monitor waste management strategies, security measures, and temporary services.

• Ensure logistics operations align with safety regulations and project timelines.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction logistics.

• Prior experience working on large-scale construction projects in the UAE.

• Professional Memberships (CIOB / CMILT) are an advantage but not mandatory.

• Ability to introduce innovative logistics strategies for improved efficiency.

• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of logistics technology and construction management tools.
