Position: HSE Officer

About the Company:

An international shipping vessel agency with an extension office in West Africa, offering services across MENA and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

HSE Compliance & Safety Culture

  • Provide guidance and support to improve health, safety and environmental (HSQE) standards.
  • Promote and enhance a strong safety culture across the organization.

HSQE Management Systems & Audits

  • Implement, monitor, and improve HSQE management systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Conduct internal and third-party inspections (contractors) as per company policies.

Risk Assessment & Incident Prevention

  • Facilitate and review HSQE risk assessments for both routine and non-routine activities.
  • Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

📌 Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an HSQE Officer.
  • Strong background in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards.
  • Experience working in shipping, logistics, or vessel management is a plus.

📌 Skills & Attributes:
✔ Strong understanding of HSQE regulations and risk assessments.
✔ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
✔ Ability to conduct audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
✔ Willingness to relocate and adapt to an Africa-based work setting.

📌 Preferred Candidate:

  • Open to Asian and Arabic nationals.
  • Age limit: 39 years and below.
