Job Title: Internal Communications Specialist

Job Overview:

We are looking for an Internal Communications (IC) Specialist to support the IC Manager in executing the internal communications strategy across the Emirates Group. The role focuses on employee engagement, brand storytelling, crisis communication, and leadership messaging through various IC channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Communications Strategy & Implementation

  • Execute the IC strategy to enhance employee engagement and promote corporate culture.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, timely, and consistent communication across multiple channels.

Content Creation & Channel Management

  • Create engaging content aligned with IC objectives across internal platforms.
  • Facilitate channel transformation by optimizing communication tools and strategies.

Employee & Brand Engagement

  • Act as the IC representative for designated divisions, providing expert consultation and crafting communication plans.
  • Build and manage employee communities, encouraging brand engagement through effective storytelling.

Feedback & Performance Analysis

  • Implement formal employee feedback mechanisms using market research and analytics.
  • Provide data-driven insights to improve campaigns, community engagement, and internal events.

Crisis Communication & Reputation Management

  • Support the organization’s crisis communication planning and response to keep employees informed.
  • Mitigate employee concerns and protect corporate reputation during crises.

Collaboration & Vendor Management

  • Balance in-house creative teams and external agencies to maintain high-quality standards and meet deadlines.
  • Ensure the effective coordination and distribution of internal communications materials.

Industry Research & Best Practices

  • Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in internal communications.
  • Understand evolving business needs to optimize communication strategies.

 

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Education & Qualifications

  • Degree (12+3 or equivalent) in Mass Communication, Journalism, or HR.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or public relations within a multinational company or agency.

Skills & Expertise

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to present proposals professionally and engage with stakeholders, management, and suppliers.
  • Expertise in brand engagement, campaign execution, and change management.
  • Proficiency in data analytics, employee feedback mechanisms, and performance reporting.
