Rosewood Abu Dhabi, a luxury hotel brand known for its sophisticated hospitality, is seeking an experienced Waiter/Waitress – Banquets to join their Food & Beverage team. This full-time role requires an individual with strong service skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of banquet operations.

As a Banquet Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for ensuring top-tier service throughout events—from preparing setups to food and beverage service, guest interaction, and closing duties. This role demands physical endurance, excellent communication, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining exceptional service standards aligned with brand and LQA guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and serve guests food and beverages courteously and efficiently

• Follow banquet service standards and comply with departmental policies

• Maintain knowledge of menu, ingredients, wine selections, and beverage pairings

• Operate POS systems accurately; handle guest bills and collect payments

• Set and reset tables, prepare condiments, and maintain cleanliness of assigned areas

• Support banquet setups, breakdowns, and coordination with kitchen and bar staff

• Open and serve wines and prepare coffee/beverages to hotel standards

• Guide bus staff to ensure efficient table service

• Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly resolve complaints

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with brand and LQA standards

• Perform opening and closing side duties as per department checklists

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Waiter/Waitress, preferably in Banquets

• High school diploma or equivalent education

• Proficient in handling POS systems and guest interactions

• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with stamina

• Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and guest service orientation

• Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus

• Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol

• Excellent coordination, attention to detail, and communication skills
