Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi, part of the global Nord Anglia Education family, is seeking a compassionate and driven Student Support Assistant (Internship) to support students with additional educational needs. This on-site internship role offers a meaningful opportunity to work one-on-one with students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and thrive both academically and socially.

Working alongside experienced educators, you’ll help deliver individualized support programs and make a tangible difference in students’ educational journeys. This position begins in August 2025, and candidates already residing in the UAE are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students needing additional educational support

• Assist pupils with English language difficulties, behavioral needs, or academic challenges

• Support students both in class and during individual learning sessions

• Collaborate with class teachers to implement tailored learning strategies

• Encourage social integration and promote student confidence

• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Minimum High School Diploma

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in student support or education

• Strong understanding of best teaching practices

• Fluency in English (spoken and written)

• Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Collaborative mindset and sensitivity to international and intercultural environments

• Understanding of the British curriculum is a plus
