Givaudan, a global leader in fragrance and flavor innovation, is seeking a Senior Specialist – F&B RAPS to join its Fragrances Regulatory and Product Safety (RAPS) team in Dubai. This hybrid, full-time role is a critical part of the SAMEA (South Asia, Middle East, and Africa) regulatory support function, ensuring all fragrance and food products meet stringent regulatory standards, customer expectations, and legal obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Support:

• Respond to regulatory inquiries from internal and external clients across the SAMEA region.

• Assess product compliance through comprehensive information gathering and regulatory review.

• Ensure strict adherence to global, regional, and customer-specific regulatory standards.

• Provide expert consultation for organic, chemical, and fragrance-based product development.

• Draft custom reports, conduct policy/regulatory impact analysis, and monitor regulatory changes.

• Develop and lead action plans for new or evolving regulations.

Processes and Systems Management:

• Maintain data integrity via audits and routine regulatory database checks.

• Create tools and software-based solutions to align with changing regulatory landscapes.

Customer Support:

• Develop detailed regulatory documentation tailored to internal and external stakeholder needs.

• Offer technical feedback to assist creative teams in regulatory-compliant product development.

• Build relationships with clients’ regulatory and safety personnel to support ongoing collaboration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or university degree in a relevant scientific field.

• 5–7 years of progressive regulatory experience, preferably in fragrance, flavors, FMCG, or chemical sectors.

• Strong understanding and passion for fragrance and consumer product industries.

• Fluent in English, with additional languages like Arabic or French being a plus.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

• Willingness and eligibility to travel across the SAMEA region for business and client engagements.
