Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior GCC Compliance Lead to join Detekta as either a Co-Founder or Advisor. This is a unique opportunity to help stress-test and refine our AI compliance engine, translate regulatory requirements into product specifications, and leverage your network to open doors with banks, regulators, and sandbox environments. You will play a critical role in early investor and sales conversations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct rigorous stress-testing of the compliance AI engine using real audit cases.

• Identify gaps and work to improve product robustness.

• Translate complex regulatory text into clear, actionable product specifications.

• Leverage your existing network to connect Detekta with banks, sandboxes, and regulatory bodies.

• Participate in investor and sales meetings to represent compliance expertise and strategic insight.

Engagement Options:

• Co-Founder: Full-time role with 3–10% equity (4-year vesting, 1-year cliff), no salary until funding.

• Advisor: Part-time role (~5 hours/month) with 0.5–2% equity, unpaid.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of compliance or risk management experience in a GCC bank, fintech, or regulatory body.

• Deep expertise in AML/CTF regulations.

• At least one warm introduction within your network you can make immediately.

• Ability to convert dense legal and regulatory documents into clear product build specifications.

• SaaS and AI experience is a strong plus.
