THC & Partners is seeking a Senior Account Executive to be seconded full-time to a leading UAE university on a 14-month fixed-term contract. The role combines corporate communications, media relations, and thought leadership to build and maintain the university’s reputation. The successful candidate will help establish communications infrastructure, manage media relations, and produce high-quality content for multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with regional media (Arabic & English) to secure earned-first brand awareness.

• Draft and distribute press releases, media alerts, and pitches.

• Write and edit press releases, articles, speeches, newsletters, social media posts, and briefing materials aligned with the university’s tone of voice.

• Support marketing campaigns and collaborate with design and production teams.

• Execute communications plans for events and exhibitions.

• Research and report on industry trends and opportunities in higher education.

• Project management: track timelines, deliverables, and ensure projects are completed on schedule.

• Manage account reporting, including measurement and evaluation of communications activities.

Secondment Details:

• Full-time on-site at the university’s administrative headquarters in Dubai.

• Reports to an Account Director at THC & Partners and the university’s Director of Communications.

• Travel within the UAE to other university campuses as needed.

• Fixed-term contract: 14 months.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of corporate communications, media relations, and thought leadership.

• Ability to communicate effectively with senior decision-makers.

• Highly organized with project management skills.

• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).

• Experience in building communications processes and content infrastructure.
