The Center for Behavioral Institutional Design (C-BID) at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) is seeking a Research Assistant to explore the origins of human behavioral diversity, develop empirically-informed models of behavior, and design innovative institutions and policies to enhance social welfare.
This opportunity is part of the NYUAD Kawader Program, ideal for candidates with a background in Economics, Behavioral Sciences, Mathematics, or Computer Science who are passionate about experimental and empirical research.
Responsibilities

Conduct data collection, interpretation, and statistical analysis.

Support the development and testing of new research tools and methodologies.

Collaborate closely with NYUAD faculty and research teams across multidisciplinary fields.

Contribute to ongoing projects within the center’s three research clusters focused on behavioral diversity and institutional design.

Assist in the preparation of research reports, publications, and policy insights.
Essential Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics or related fields (Behavioral or Social Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science).

Strong communication skills in English.

Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.

Demonstrated scientific creativity and analytical thinking.
Preferred Experience
-
Previous research experience in behavioral social science or related fields is desirable.
