CBS Company is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join their team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of laboratory experience and hold a MOH/DHA license. The role involves working in a GLP/GMP compliant laboratory, ensuring testing, processing, and compliance of cord blood samples to the highest scientific and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test and process cord blood samples efficiently and accurately.

• Maintain strict adherence to laboratory guidelines and current legislation.

• Ensure compliance with AABB accreditation standards and maintain awareness of associated regulations.

• Work in a CAT A/B cleanroom environment following aseptic techniques to prevent contamination.

• Perform testing and compliance analysis of all processed samples.

• Conduct validation and ongoing assessment of laboratory processes.

• Update and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure alignment with evolving regulations.

• Support the maintenance of the stem cell database for therapeutic use and research applications.

• Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities to uphold skill and compliance standards.

• Maintain laboratory stock, ensuring adequate supplies for smooth operations.

• Ensure consistent environmental monitoring and cleanliness of all laboratory areas.

• Supervise or review peers’ work for compliance and quality assurance.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience (recent experience preferred).

• Valid MOH/DHA license.

• Knowledge of GLP, GMP, and deviation reporting standards.

• Familiarity with AABB-accredited laboratories is highly desirable.

• Proficient in aseptic techniques and cleanroom procedures.

• Experience in microbiology testing and control procedures.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.

• Reliable, ethical, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards.

• Must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B (proof required).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dedicated team.

• Must hold a valid UAE driving license and own vehicle.
