Position Overview:
Our Tier 1 Main Contracting Client in Dubai is looking for an experienced Design Manager (Fit Out) to lead the interior design efforts on high-end luxury construction projects. This is a key leadership role requiring a deep understanding of luxury interior design principles, with extensive experience managing large-scale projects across various sectors (residential, commercial, hospitality). The ideal candidate will be able to oversee all phases of design, ensuring seamless coordination with clients, consultants, and project teams, while maintaining the highest standards of luxury and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interior Design Leadership & Oversight: Lead the development of interior design concepts for luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, ensuring they meet high-end design standards.

• Project Coordination & Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, MEP teams, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration of interior design elements into the overall project.

• Luxury Interior Execution: Oversee material and fixture selection, ensuring that all elements reflect the project’s luxury design narrative.

• Quality Control & Design Integrity: Ensure that all design elements adhere to the highest standards of quality, craftsmanship, and luxury, and are compliant with international building codes and local regulations.

• Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded while maintaining the integrity of the design vision.

• Budget & Schedule Management: Ensure the interior design aligns with the project’s budget and schedule, and manage procurement and delivery of materials, finishes, and furniture.

• Sustainability & Innovation: Incorporate sustainable and innovative design practices into the interior design, ensuring environmentally responsible solutions without compromising luxury.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

• Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years in interiors/fit-out design management, with at least 2 years working on high-profile luxury projects.

• Skills & Expertise:

  • Proficiency in interior design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other visualization tools.

  • In-depth knowledge of luxury materials, finishes, and bespoke furnishings.

  • Deep understanding of local and international building codes, sustainability practices, and luxury design standards.

  • Proven track record in managing large-scale luxury residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.

  • Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring abilities.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging high-profile clients and senior stakeholders.

  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for luxury design aesthetics, craftsmanship, and quality.

Salary:
AED 20,000 to 25,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

• Location: Dubai, UAE

• Employment Type: Full-Time, 6-Month Contract (with the possibility of transferring to staff after the contract)
