Hilton is seeking a Commis 3 – Hot Section to join the kitchen team at DoubleTree by Hilton Fujairah City. This role focuses on preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, supporting the kitchen brigade, and contributing to departmental targets while maintaining Hilton’s exceptional standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and present high-quality dishes according to Hilton standards.

Perform mis-en-place for all relevant menus.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring no cross-contamination.
-
Contribute to departmental targets and effective food cost control.
-
Support other kitchen departments as needed and maintain good working relationships.

Report maintenance, hygiene, and safety issues promptly.

Comply with all hotel security, fire, health, safety, and food safety regulations.

Demonstrate awareness of environmental sustainability in kitchen operations.
Requirements & Qualifications:
-
Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Apprentice Chef.

NVQ Level 1 (Level 2 advantageous).

Positive attitude and strong communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.

Passion for food, culinary arts, and a career in hospitality.

Completion of a basic food hygiene course and accredited commercial cookery course or trade apprenticeship.

Ability to multi-task and adhere to rigorous standards.
