Hilton is seeking a Commis 3 – Hot Section to join the kitchen team at DoubleTree by Hilton Fujairah City. This role focuses on preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, supporting the kitchen brigade, and contributing to departmental targets while maintaining Hilton’s exceptional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes according to Hilton standards.

  • Perform mis-en-place for all relevant menus.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring no cross-contamination.

  • Contribute to departmental targets and effective food cost control.

  • Support other kitchen departments as needed and maintain good working relationships.

  • Report maintenance, hygiene, and safety issues promptly.

  • Comply with all hotel security, fire, health, safety, and food safety regulations.

  • Demonstrate awareness of environmental sustainability in kitchen operations.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Apprentice Chef.

  • NVQ Level 1 (Level 2 advantageous).

  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.

  • Passion for food, culinary arts, and a career in hospitality.

  • Completion of a basic food hygiene course and accredited commercial cookery course or trade apprenticeship.

  • Ability to multi-task and adhere to rigorous standards.
