Hilton is hiring a Commis 1 at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre. This role involves assisting with daily kitchen operations, preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting the culinary team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in daily kitchen operations including preparation of mis-en-place and production.

Gain knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation styles.

Maintain kitchen hygiene and cleanliness at all times.

Set up sections as required by Chef De Partie and Executive Chef.

Taste and examine food for freshness and quality.

Minimize food wastage and adhere to operational standards.

Attend and comprehend briefing sessions; stay updated with hotel events.
Requirements & Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Commis Chef.

Positive attitude with strong communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions.

Passion for food, culinary arts, and a drive to succeed in hospitality.

Completion of a basic food hygiene course.

Ability to multitask and work in a rigorous, high-standard environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Educational background in Culinary Arts.

Previous hotel industry experience.
-
NVQ Level 2 certification.
