CoinMarketCap is hiring an Automation QA Engineer to join their team remotely from Dubai. The role focuses on developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, optimizing CI/CD processes, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across functional, API, and performance testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation testing frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and quality.

• Design, develop, and optimize automated test scripts for functional, API, and performance testing.

• Participate in constructing the testing platform and enhancing automation in CI/CD processes.

• Develop testing strategies, write test cases, execute tests, and manage defect tracking.

• Analyze test data, identify software defects, and drive rapid resolution.

• Provide testing perspective insights during product architecture design reviews.

• Explore and implement new testing tools and methods, keeping up with industry trends.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in test development.

• Proficient in at least one programming language (Python, Java, Go, etc.).

• Experienced with automation testing frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Robot Framework, TestNG, pytest, etc.).

• Familiar with API testing (Postman, RestAssured, JMeter) and database testing (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

• Experience in performance, stress, and stability testing with tools like JMeter, Locust, or Gatling.

• Knowledge of DevOps processes and CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Kubernetes).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with large-scale, high-concurrency systems.

• Security testing, containerized testing (Docker/K8s), or AI-based automation testing.

• Leadership or contribution in developing testing tools or platforms.

• Participation in open-source projects or technical blogs.
