Keolis Group is seeking an AFC Technician to provide engineering and maintenance support for the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) and CCTV systems across the Dubai Metro. This full-time on-site role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, installation, and repair of AFC equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the AFC Team Leader in preventive and corrective maintenance of AFC systems including automatic gates, ticket vending machines, ticket office machines, central control, and station equipment.

• Install, service, and reconfigure AFC and CCTV systems at stations, depots, and car parks.

• Repair and maintain equipment using hand, electrical, electronic, and mechanical tools, referencing schematics, manuals, and work instructions.

• Identify and replace faulty AFC equipment; coordinate with the electronics workshop for repairs.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and work completed using a computerized maintenance management system.

• Support implementation of complex systems or new projects under guidance from the AFC Team Leader.

• Ensure maintenance tools and equipment are in good working condition.

• Perform shift and emergency duties as required.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in using electronic test equipment and PCs for AFC system maintenance.

• Ability to write technical reports, prepare method statements, and drawings.

• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment.

• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

• Preferably hold a valid UAE driving license with driving experience.

Experience:

• Minimum 1-year work experience as an electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, or electronics technician in maintaining and repairing AFC systems, including automatic gates, ticket vending machines, and related components.

Educational Qualification:

• Vocational trade certificate, diploma, or degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
