AtkinsRéalis is seeking Graduate to Senior Urban Planners (UAE Nationals only) to join their planning and design team in Dubai. The role offers Emirati graduates and professionals the opportunity to contribute to sustainable, people-centered urban development projects across the UAE, including master plans, community developments, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation of urban, regional, and master plans, including data collection, spatial analysis, and design layouts.

• Assist in developing land use plans, zoning frameworks, and sustainable urban planning strategies.

• Conduct site research, demographic and spatial data analysis, and contribute to reports and presentations.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and landscape designers.

• Participate in stakeholder and client meetings, providing innovative ideas.

• Utilize GIS, CAD, and visualization tools to produce maps, diagrams, and analytical outputs.

• Stay updated on urban planning trends, sustainability frameworks, and UAE planning policies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, Geography, or related discipline.

• Strong interest in city development, sustainability, and smart growth principles.

• Familiarity with planning and design software (AutoCAD, ArcGIS/QGIS, Rhino/SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).

• Excellent research, analytical, and report writing skills.

• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and eagerness to learn.

• Internship or academic project experience in urban planning is a plus.

• Awareness of UAE Vision, sustainability goals, and urban development frameworks is preferred.
